Dan - I don't entirely agree with that column. The one place I think he may be wrong (and it is the most important for those trying to play the market) is his assertion that the intervention is bound to fail eventually. I don't see why that is necessarily true. In fact, the last few months, and particularly the last few days, have got me thinking that they can actually pull it off...
