brainlessone - the Taliban destroyed religious statues and places of worship that withstood centuries of war, disease, and pestilence. Saying the Taliban represent all Muslims is like saying the Christian right represents Christians. They are both fanatical fringe groups.

Are you saying bin laden killing 2792 WTC people is worth the killing of 1/2 a million iraqis that had nothing to with it? Is that what you are saying?

brainlessone, It is past time to stop the killing. We should build schools, fund small projects to help people, provide basic medical care and quit supporting brutal regimes. In time the US would gain incredible respect that would ensure terrorists would have no where to hide. The problem is there is no money for industrialists, consultants or lobbyists. Without them soaking up their 80% cut we can't have real programs to help the poeple of the world live better. Very sad, this could have been the best of times.
