Re: Intel is already suffering from complacency, and nothing really great came out of the US design teams since P6, and Intel averted a major meltdown only thanks to the Israeli design team.
I'm betting that the Israeli designed core will be the next really great thing since the P6 (or perhaps even rivaling it). Intel is a very innovative company, and just because they misplanned a major micro-architecture inflection point (Prescott), people are claiming they've lost their innovation completely. That's a load of bull. In fact, Prescott has plenty of innovative features, and if it weren't for mispredicting the power wall, those features could have gone in to make a very powerful core.
Re: But since you keep telling people to sell, you can go further and short AMD, to keep up with your rhetoric.
I'm telling people to start looking for a top, which is different than shouting SELL SELL SELL!!! AMD's major growth right now is not fundamentally based; it's based off of speculation due to the success of Opteron, and Opteron will soon face very stiff competition. It's not a long shot to believe the stock will suffer when AMD loses competitiveness. Of course, if AMD pulls a rabbit out of its hat or Intel continues to fumble, then I am wrong. I just don't think I am.
