Wb, Change.

We are seeing it happen.

How far and fast it will go? Who knows.

AMD's 6% capitalization, just points to how fragile are the best layed plans of mice and men. Intel is only about as special as the rest who come and go.. It's natural.

When Intel cap was ~half a trillion, did you think was going to keep going up. Yes, I think you did.

Don't hate AMD because they make better products with less than 1/10 the resources. Don't blame Intel either, its natural to get lazy after soooo many trips through the buffet line.

People get nostalgic over the artists of their generation. Same thing happens in industry. Remember Grove and paranoia metric, that was some schtick. Some special theory of why/how. The tale he spins to his renta buddies and worshipers, who hope they can grab the brass ring this time around.

NEWS FLASH: The easy money from Intel has already been made and went bye bye.

wbmw,

I'd be interested in hearing why you think this is an aberration. AMD deserves ...

It is not about what AMD deserves, or what Intel deserves. It is just that it is uncommon for a player to have such a dominant position, and that it is uncommon for it to last.

You are going on the limb saying that it will become even more aberrant in the future, and attack people who say the opposite will happen ...

BTW, I wonder if you are just saying all that, or if you actually believe what you say, and have invested some money along the lines of your hypothesis? The people you attack apparently did put some money on the line.
