...yeah home is where your old-school friends are and family.....and the thing about the Detroit area is that if someone hasnt moved out of there by 25 they live there for life lol. Meaning most of my friends still live there...
I am back in Seattle for a couple weeks then move for Oct. 1st ... Seattle is an exceptional city on all levels: yesterday I walked down to REI from where I live....there had to be tens of thousands of people walking on all the streets - this town is vibrant and alive...and walkable - opposite of Detroit in almost every way.
But none of this compares to playing 18 holes with old best friends, or playing tennis three times a week....or seeing family more than once a year.
And yeah why did they have to take my license too? Couldnt they have left that in car - heck they took $180 cash .... wasnt that enough lol?
The funny thing is when I actually lived in the hood in Detroit @ Scripps Street and Phillips - my car and house was never messed with.....but in GPP it was - oh well....
Still though I love it there in Detroit and Detroit area: cant wait to move...the housing is soooooo cheap, the food so good and so cheap - and dozens of gold courses woooooooooooo! FOOOOUUUURRRR!!
