Mojo, could not agree with you less. Any deal with a real bp legitimizes and validates bavi. The result would be a big bump to the sp. Upfront money and milestone payments to get this indication through pIII, and move other indications forward, would be huge. Going it alone is not a realistic option in my opinion.
