Volgoat, I have no expectations for upfront money. There are too many variables involved. I hope that if the upfront money from a legitimate bp is in the $30mm - $50mm range, that people aren't disappointed. There are too many other variables to consider, regional control and split percentage to name a couple. The key is a deal with a legitimate company(not Dios), and to keep the trials going without dilution. That will go a long way in boosting the pps, getting some new money into the stock, and validating the trials.
Comparisons to other deals and other drugs is difficult because they are all unigue. Vertex had a half a billion dollars when they made that deal in 2006. It was made as much to share the risk as for the money, imo.
