I'm more a fundamentalist who tries to see where the sp is currently in relation to it's overall chart pattern.

To be a technical trader, a real TA trader, you need to select the indices that most accurately show the coming breakout, the continued trend, and the change in trend suggesting an exit. REED still is very strong given my system. I trade using weekly data, not daily. Daily will mess with your mind, the weekly will give a more accurate view of the total picture. Just my thoughts. I have been trading for 40 years, not a spring chicken. Still run 6 miles a day, just finished my morning run.
