Imagine a pizza where every slice has different toppings (different market segments). You and I will eat the pie, but I have the resources to be a much faster eater. Even so, at some point, I'll get full and you'll be able to eat what's left. No matter how fast I eat in the beginning, when my stomach runs out of capacity, you will reap the rewards. Honestly, it's not a difficult concept.
By the way, if you want to further the analogy, let's pretend the server market is made of slices with extra cheese, and this year I didn't take my lactaid pills. That makes you a lot more competitive in eating those slices, but there are plenty of other slices that I'm still eating faster.
