As of right now, I have not seen a mineral evaluation report by an Arizona-registered geologist or mining engineer for either the Gold Star/Gold Crown placer mine, or the Davis Dunkirk ("Azurite") Mine. Therefore, it remains to be proven whether there is any recoverable gold at either property. Reports written by self-appointed mining engineers are highly suspect to say the least.

Of course there's gold on the claims! The question is....Is there sufficient gold to recover at a PROFIT!

The Skull Valley/Copper basin area isn't known to have any profitable, recoverable Gold.

The best source is Freemont-MacMoran??(SP) or as known as Phelps-Dodge. P-D has 1200 acres just up the Copper Basin road and they haven't done a thing with the property except to haul off fill material. AKA GRAVEL.
