Its like the company is ashamed of recent production numbers.
One would think that a competent management team would have this information at their fingertips at a bare minimum for monthly (if not weekly) production. If the numbers were good they would be announcing them to high heaven in PR after PR trumpeting each subsequent month of $10.00 per BBL production.
The obvious conclusions / options reached from the ongoing production information blackout are:
1) They know the numbers and won't release them in a clear, transparent way because they are very bad and belie managements previous statements.
2) They don't know the numbers and are thus incompetent managers / business people.
3) The numbers are good and they are witholding them for some obtuse reason.
one would think one would open up the sec filings and knows they already do provide all that information
wow....just wow
Every firm that is reputable reports sales, production and inventory levels so that progress may be gauged on a quarter-to-quarter, year-to-year basis.
