Which of course begs the question:

Why can't RIM get sufficient financing at reasonable terms when they claim to have a product that significantly outperforms anything on the market? Nobody has been able to sufficiently answer this question.

Remember that Ikanos managed to raise over $125 million to develop their technology, and Brad would have you believe that Ikanos and others are lying about their performance claims. Incidentally, when figuring how much money is needed to take a semiconductor design to market, it is prudent to consider that it cost Ikanos every bit of that $125 million. Brad may believe that RIM can do it for less than 5% of what Ikanos required, but that is, as I have said before, patently ridiculous.

You analysis a few days ago about whether the technology is real was flawed for this reason, among many others. If this company truly had a product that would significantly outperform what Infineon, Ikanos and others have to offer, big money would beat a path to their door. Clearly, that has not happened. Why?
