Small banks can be volitile within a narrow range... If you are trying again to trade my ideas you will be wrong each time... These are stocks that you put away any wait a year.. If you make 25%+ whats so bad without downside risk.. SAVB has been my largest bank position for over a year and it has gone from 26 to 34 or 33% and if you margin it it is 66%.. So whats so bad about that??? Banks are not trading stocks and if you think that TOFC going from 16 to 17.25 in a month is boring, so be it.. It's still 15.6% for the month on margin..VPHM which has been a rocket is only up 21.2% for the month and that I can't margin.. Nothing against VPHM which I was not smart enough to buy but I'll give up the 5% to sleep better.. If you carry positions of size it's worth much to have no down side worrys...When was the last time you heard of trading or balance sheet pump and dumps in small banks...Enough said..hank
