Larry, re heavy NYSE member shorting, if you follow the links and read the entire thread on Capitalstool.com, you'll see the conclusion that this indicator appears to be worthless. As much as I would like to see good arguments for the market going down soon, I wouldn't rely on that one.

but the cot numbers from cboe are more positive and they are more recent. how do these figure in?
