Say we are at 7.50 and they announce a buy out at 9.50. Every short will be clawing to cover. The price will immediately go to some where close to 9.50. They will have to cover. My analysis of the short position is it hasn't changed much. I haven't looked for a week, it may have changed. Shorting this stock is foolish. The recent history tells you what is happening, very little risk, IMHO. We have to ride the occasional dips. When the big buyers pull back, hoping to see a pull back, and the price begins to slide, the selling starts. Eventually there comes a bottom, where the buyers enter. It looks like there was some interest at the close yesterday, we shall see.
