The COMPQ may not lead equities down the next time. The real key may be the COMPQ and SOX outperforming the SPX, INDU and NYA.

The XLF:SOX is one ratio I will be watching.

Oil down could be seen as the Oil traders pricing in a slowing of demand. i.e. worldwide slowdown.

We'll have to wait and see if the equity markets see it that way.
