One cannot reason with a fundamentalist; they know all the answers ahead of time. Theirs' is a narrow world-view that does not allow them to think outside their own little box.

Frankly, I'm sick to death of these pompous right-wing christian blowhards tooting their horns over the evils of homosexuality, when they have no more familiarity of homosexuals than they do with Martians (for all they know, they may be one and the same).

Yes, I have known many gay people: in college I had numerous gay friends, professionally I have had many gay clients, and I have employed and continue to employ gay persons (of both genders) in my business. My experience is such that, aside from sexual preference, I find little if anything to differentiate between gays and heterosexuals.

Until you make some effort to go out and meet some people who may be a bit different than you and learn to accept them for their differences, I'd say keep the proselytizing to yourself; it's sickening and it makes the world seem a meaner place to live.
