"Serious question - because I'm trying to figure it all out, in determining who to love, and exactly what to "hate"....."

I think we both know that is not the case.

"Do you believe homosexuals are more likely to molest children than heterosexuals? If so, why? If this is your opinion, is there a basis for such an opinion?...
Regarding Big-Brother's, Scouting, or any organization working with children - why should only homosexuals be singled out for sexual behavior? Why not take issue with heterosexuals too - adultry, premarital, and/or sex outside of marriage, or other sexual conduct that some might consider "objectionable" or "sinful"? If we object on the basis of sexual behavior, why limit our objection to homosexuals - specifically??..."
I believe that anyone already engaging in a morally sinful lifestyle is not to be trusted with children, be it homosexuality, adultery, promiscuity or whatever. That is both because I would view them as more prone to molestation and because I do not want children to be taught that such things are "normal and acceptable."

"And if, as you say, we are commanded to "love the sinner" but "hate the sin" - but have never "witnessed" the "sinner" engaging in the "sin" - do we have anything to "hate"?..."
What kind of a question is that???? For a homosexual to be known as such, either he/she has been known to engage in the behavior or openly advocates it. Fortunately, I do not have to personally observe them in the act. While I do not "hate" him or her as a person, neither do I condone or ignore the sin.
