Yes, this is/was likely sarcasm from Tim Cook, but anything is possible. The world is definitely in need of high quality printers that actually work. 3-D and laser projection printing may also be on the horizon. Could Apple see value in owning Kodak's patents, both old and newly acquired, along with other printer related assets?

Good speculation or maybe the bids were actually low and this is the ultimatum sell it now to one of the bidders or chapter 7.
