I just finished reading it. Certainly it appears that Kodak is trying to make itself look more appealing, and your thoughts about that are just a plausible as any.
Yes, this is/was likely sarcasm from Tim Cook, but anything is possible. The world is definitely in need of high quality printers that actually work. 3-D and laser projection printing may also be on the horizon. Could Apple see value in owning Kodak's patents, both old and newly acquired, along with other printer related assets?
