From what I can gather, there isn't an "on" topic at the EDIG board!! On a related note, at the RB EDIG board, all they seem to do is talk about what goes on at this EDIG board!! They seem to have a lot of free time on their hands.
Matt: I am making a plea for friendlyfred to be released from jail. I believe Fred is incarcerated for not using the reply feature. He doesn't use it on RB either, but I think he could be trainable.
I'm pleading for him because he posted that he actually appreciated my DD. With all of the hate mail you get about me, that's gotta be worth something, right?

That language relates to an arrangement set up back in 1997 under which e.Digital (then Norris Communications) settled a default on an operating lease agreement with Comdisco by agreeing to pay Comdisco up to $515,000 from the proceeds of equity placements that Comdisco might arrange for the company.
The company has not chosen to use Comdisco to raise equity and consequently no payments have been made.
Here is a more complete reference to the arrangement from the 10Q filed on 10/17/97:
FUTURE COMMITMENTS AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES The Company was in arrears on an operating equipment lease obligation to Comdisco, Inc. during fiscal 1997, but has negotiated a settlement providing for future payments of approximately $515,000 from time to time based on agreed upon percentages of future equity raises.
Once such a liability appears on a balance sheet it is left there until both parties agree to cancel the agreement.
But from the standpoint of current e.Digital shareholders it essentially means that no cash obligation exists or is likely to occur.
This is just another example of bashers selectively quoting from a financial statement in an effort to frighten investors.
