'the bear' I had lunch today with Brad, and John, along with Northern Trader, and others. Brad said that they are on schedule with the timeline. Now let's look at the timeline that Cooper gave us. Within 12 months, they want to accomplish 5 things which all build on one another.

1. Completing the intelectual property (this is ongoing)
2. Put this knowledge in the form of a prototype (this has to be completed before # 3 can happen.
3. Carrier and platform provider positive evaluation
4. Begin volume production (can't happen without # 2 being done. And it doesn't happen the next day, but takes time)
5. Recognize meaningful revenues from these production chips.

Steps 3,4 and 5 take time and require the prototype to be done first. Consequently it doesn't make sense that the prototype wouldn't be done soon, and I believe that I remember that in the annual report it said 3 to 4 months. They are on target, so as I see it, they will be to market and receiving revenue by the end of the second quarter of 2003. This is nothing new, or reading any thing into Tom's letter.

Shortly they will announce the results of their development, and then any thing could happen. Even the carrier trials may not be required for some companies to start to do business with NV.

Again, all of this has been stated before, so we all need to just pay attention.
