Here is what I found out so far. The case as you probably already know is Civil Action No:8:11-cv-02320 and is being handled by the Middle District of Florida court, Tampa Division. Phone 813-301-5400.
To view the actual case online you can sign up at pacer.gov and for a fee view the documents. I didn't want to pay the fee at this point.
I spoke with a peson at the clerks office in a different district that told me the case had been "Administratively Closed" and the judge had given the parties until "October 29, 2012" for a "Pending Settlement".
I do not have a link to this as I was told over the phone after many (many!) phone calls. If somebody wants to sign up for a pacer.gov account the person I spoke with said it gives access to federal cases. Then we could see it in writing.
The case is being handled by a Honorable James D. Whittemore out of Tampa. Just spoke to his clerk in Tampa and she confirmed status.
So there is two sources on two different phone calls saying the same thing. I think it is good information.
As I understand it a motion was filed to allow the parties involved to sette and they have until October 29, 2012 to do so. If they don't, something else will be filed.
Let's hope they settle and we can get on with it! All IMO.
