A combination of an RSI buy and you going to 200% would do the trick.
In my "new" RAIM, I used 3 separate models now that I have index specific internals. The classic NDX model, as well as one for RUT and the SPX.
Under my new approach, at least 2 of the 3 models must have active scalps before I take a long position.
I also tested a scenario whereby I would not take a position unless all 3 models had scalps active. The results were that it was not anywhere near as profitable as the 2/3 model. But in terms of failed scalps and drawdown, the results were exceptional.
I will see if I can get that backtest up on the blog in a little while.
