Traderfan: you should consider having two accounts .... open a 2nd immediately with a small deposit. Don't transfer any stocks, just cash ..... it's easy to transfer cash back and forth between accounts using ACH electronic transfer services.
If you transfer the entire account it could be in limbo for a week or longer leaving you vulnerable to news developments or stock price movements that you can't trade on.
