I would suggest that you’re misconstruing what zipjet was inquiring about in #msg-77924742. Inasmuch as IVIG is a mixture of thousands of individual antibodies, a fully recombinant IVIG at production scale is all but impossible.

I think what zipjet wanted to know was whether any company has a development program to substantially boost the yield of an IVIG-like product through biotechnology, compared to ordinary IVIG. As noted in #msg-77927330, the answer to this question is yes.
