Other than the ability to change the aesthetic value you have more freedom to make custom indicators. Throw a 50 day exponential moving average on an RSI5 indictor or build indicators to sit behind price charts, or only review charts in a specific timeframe like FA wanted to do. Even hide the price all together so you are only looking at the indicators.
Hiding price and reviewing indicators is a great way to determine what kind of buy and sell signals actually work, or if it really matters at all.
