I think my question was very clear:

"I received this via PM so I can not vouch if the data quoted is true or not. Since I'm not in the media field I don't have a clue if it is true or not. Does anyone else know if any of this information is true? If it is, isn't there a FCC regulation preventing a single special interest group having such power?
