GWB once again felt it necessary to explain his admin's blunders in NO, and now will throw billions of dollars at the problem to make nice (and hopefully get those poll numbers up).
Re-building NO isn't the issue - the REAL issue is we have a government that cannot protect or help it's people in an emergency.
Bill Clinton announced today he is launching a global poverty summit, and to-date aprox 800 political leaders and activists have signed pledges in writing to work on this global issue. Cost per person will be $15,000.00, which will make their commitment serious.
Clinton has once again stolen the stage, and he will be in the spotlight as leader of this summit - contrast that to the sorry excuse for leadership currently residing in the oval office at 1600 Penn Avenue.
Will Clinton's summit cure poverty? Probably not, but it will focus on an issue that has been pushed to the backgroud for the past +5years.
