This is NOT the same pipeline as used in the IGXT web site presentation. That pipeline still states that CPI-300 will launch in July 2012 - this 'new' pipeline just states Q3 2012.
Also, BioTuesday may have added a 'new' pipeline, but the article still states that CPI-300 will launch late 3rd / early 4th quarter. So which is it July, Sept, Oct, Nov.?
IGXT really needs to just issue something directly about this, as it has created a great deal of confusion. I don't understand why that is so difficult to do, especially since in Zerbe's last 'interview' in the spring he pledged to make investor communication a priority.
And why it makes a difference comes down to money. If CPI-300 revenue will now be delayed and clinicals for other projects have been initiated assuming availability of that revenue, they would have to potentially either borrow money - or in the extreme issue more stock. That's why the timing matters, and that's why being a public company that information has to be shared.
