If you are on topic posts should stay. IMO I think the limitation of postings on stock threads can hold a thread to an on topic discusion. To see someone posting bashing or hyping style postings, sometimes 40 to 60 and hour ruins the flow of DD on a stock thread. Personal attacks also ruin the flow of a thread.

I have found that it is only people who wish to detract from a Chairman's intended flow of content that are displeased with this innovative concept. Being on topic is something that you will no longer find Yahoo or SI threads to be. You will definitely find IHUB's threads on topic.

My opinion is that if someone doesn't have the people skills in which to keep a thread on topic without the use of delete button, then they are certainly not qualified to make an objective judgement as to whether or not a post should be deleted. Though I guess I could see where it would be useful if you had somebody who would absolutely refuse to quite harassing another member even after repeated requests that they do so.

But, I guess that is to be expected in some cases. Remember the movie "The Stepford Wives"? How the men wanted this utopian society and they created robot replicas of their wives? But trying to create a controlled environment where the flow that the Stepford Husbands wants never really works. Because most of the time, they can't live by the rules that they expect others to live by either.

As a Chairman I like that a lot. The people who post seriously on the threads also like this approach. They are all here for the same reason that I am here, to get away from people who can’t control themselves and cannot post in a pleasant way.

Boy!!! Don't I know that. I had this one guy come to my thread here on iHub and try to take over my thread. He didn't want to talk stocks at all. Even started calling my other thread particpants names and harassing another who asked him to leave her alone. So, now where to we go to get away from people like this who can't control themselves and cannot post in a pleasant way? I mean, seriously, what if people like that were actually allowed to be COBs here on iHub???

Since I am one of the people you are referring to I feel free to respond to your complaint.

Taking it awfully personal there aren't you Vendit? Last I looked there were three people who could delete posts on that thread.
