There are several secrets to my success. First, I really enjoy doing this. This is a scavenger hunt with neat prizes! I spent 31 years as a banker but hated it at the end due to changes in the industry and my jobs. So the most important secret is that I really enjoy getting up each day and scratching around to find the next prize. So this isn't work, it's fun!!!
Second, we started this board many years ago to gather like minded investors looking for cheap, profitable stocks. We have branched out since then to cover a wider variety of stocks but the core philosophy hasn't changed. And part of that core philosophy is that we readily share information about stocks we find. Why do we do that? Because sharing means we provide information but we also get information. By reviewing stocks for others, I find many of the stocks I end up owning. Hopefully it's been a fair trade for all involved. That's how it should work. It should be a win/win.
Honest sharing of info is good for everyone involved. Many that receive free advice like to give back and so they share stocks that they have found elsewhere.
Glad to hear you are making some money. That's the end goal for all of us. Having fun and exchanging ideas with good folks is a nice big bonus!
