Right, I've been watching you and I'm starting to pick this stuff up, so thanks very much for the education! Problem is I'm not cleared to write naked options yet, and I'm not quite sure I'm ready to try. I can't use the same strategy being long options, since both puts and calls have zero value at expiry. At least my risk is limited to purchase price when buying options, but, while it's harder to make money buying options, the risk is very great selling naked options. So, I'm going to give it a few more months and if I continue to do well with buying, then I'll have my status changed and start playing your type of strategy.
