I don't doubt the Word has been altered thru the course of history, and a volatile and political history, at that. That's not surprising. My intention honestly is not to demean the Word. Who are any of us to do so?.. But I do find the strict literalist interpretation, intolerant of all other interpretations, to be ridiculous, and intolerant...
