I think is was a cartoon in the local NH newspaper that implied that LLEG somehow was influencing the SEC (the board that was hearing the PPA approval request) that got the SEC (Fed agency overseeing publicly traded companies) all fired up when it erroneously imagined the cartoon related to them and decided to show LLEG who was the boss. What a ridiculous trigger point to lead to the ruin of this company and our investments.
Regarding where things would be without the SEC suspension - it is likely things would be much better, since what investor is going to jump into bed with a company under SEC suspension??? Without the suspension, it is conceiveable that Susanville could be moving forward with potential investors and that other activity with investors on other projects could be going forward. Also, the company itself would not have been focused on defending itself - both from a time and monetary standpoint.
I think the suspension was what really killed the prospects for success here, and the suspension was a truly monsterously unfortuneate over-reaction to a stupid cartoon that was misinterpreted by the SEC. Talk about bad karma!!!
