As someone just posted, Christians are very concerned about the massacre of other Christians in many parts of the world, not just the middle east - that has been an ongoing part of history since the very beginning of Christianity.
Even here in the US, while it is not acceptable to kill someone because of his religion, it is most certainly both acceptable and popular (even politically correct) to ridicule and berate Christians for their beliefs even though those beliefs are rarely clearly understood. This board is a very good example of anti-Christian bashing which, I might add, is much less tolerated when directed against any other religion.
