I actually did receive a response from Dr Newman today. He had been out of the country for a couple of weeks, apparently. His email was brief, but here it is:

Hey Eric;
I am back and am working on the new investors relations website prior to getting the stock promoted.
I have received your emails and my response is as follows:
There is going to be another acquisition, I am going continue my involvement, and all is well. It seems however the SEC changes the rules for stuff on an almost daily basis and this is frustrating.
There is still a plan to move up to the OTC.
