In the short term this is not good news. I suspect others will cease operation as well. But IF the plants running GERS COES technology can weather this storm then perhaps when they others start up again the wisdom of using the most efficient revenue add-on would be enticing; perhaps even more enticing than the threat of litigation. In other words, the downturn may be a marketing device that even GERS cannot ignore.
Market ups and downs happen in commodities. What are you going to do? The positive in this artical is that Corn Oil Extraction got another plug for easing the pain a littlle bit..
I cannot understand why we haven't seen a response from GS on Iroquois (and others) ridiculous belief that they are not infringing because of their inability (or unwillingness) to produce as much corn oil as possible. It’s been over a month and GS has not responded.
Bill, it does look grim for Valero. I am not concerned though, at least not until I here of GERS customers following suit. If they do not, it will be a testament of what GERS can do for an ethanol plant.
Honestly, this doesn't really matter much to common shareholder in GERS. It may effect the upper management at GreenShift but thankfully we have no trickle down effect for good or bad news/developments because we remain uninformed, diluted, and dying.
