Agree. It would be rare indeed for anyone in the retail sector that would short RFMK. Canadians can't short stocks with a pps below $5.00. Folks in the US would need $2.50 per share of shorted stock in the trading account. Unimcumbered assets...cash money. At $2.50 per share, it would be hard to find anyone shorting here. 1Millon shares of RFMK would take a ton of money.....and that is if your broker would or could find shares to borrow....
That leaves any shorting by brokers and MM's. They could short and MM's certainly have the right to short...even naked short, but in either case, they have to provide the shares for settlement and any that are ftd are reported 2 times per month.
