Here's a hint for the scientifically illiterate: thermo-expansion of the ocean water itself accounts for a far greater proportion of sea level rising than any ice melting. Sea ice melting does not at all contribute to water level rising because water density is higher than ice; only ice on land melting contributes to sea level.
