Thanks for the explanation. The only wrench to throw into that works is, I try to look for stocks that move. Theta only applies when a stock has no movement.

I am a totally untrained, buTT...highly stained, non professional. What I have found that I do my best on is to find the call or put one step away. i.e. if the stock is at 33.10, I like to find 33 puts and 34 calls. Then work on a really low entry before the stock starts turning my way.
