Correct me if I'm wrong. It seems to me like the longer time I have before expiration, the further out of the money I can get away with. As the expiration ticks closer, I'm better off going closer to the money. It's all about the odds and probability. I wouldn't doubt if these formulas aren't in the bots doing the trading?
