No local or state gov't could possibly have handled the quick emergency help required in LA last week - NONE.

It's now a week on - people are still being airlifted out of LA and the water is just now being pumped out of the effected areas.

I realize Karl Rove has crafted the defense for GWB...blame local/state LA gov't. With that defense, the admin apparently does not recognize the magnitude of the problems LA faced/still faces.

Most people don't buy the admin blame game.
