So they are tracking each share for months and months - NO Possible way I believe that!

It is the shareholders of record on Dec 21 2011 in black and white - plain english - no future transfers no fee's no tracking. On trades that have not cleared/completed on Dec 21 2011 there could be a question and a carry-over/carry/forward. Beyond that nothing!!
