Look, it is no secret that the US officials learned Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990 on CNN, and it is no secret that the Pentagon watches TV to get news all the time. The privately run news networks are much more efficient in propagating news than the "official channels." That should come as no surprise to anyone who is not deluded by "faith in government."
