PS: also note that that creation of 10 different lines of worms is something that you could ONLY do with zinc fingers! Other methods of GM are largely random and you'd be doing very well to get ONE successful insertion in a single round. TEN would be like buying a handful of lottery tickers and they are ALL big winners.
Also note that KBLB caught on to that capability of zinc fingers right away (AFAIK no other company using zinc fingers has done so).
Again, there are some very unusual aspects of KBLB that are far from obvious.
Mining for gold and oil. This company has drilled 5000 holes or wells in a very promising area. We are waiting for the results soon. Even when mining companies hit it big it takes time to develope the mine, arrange logistics and processing etc. but the share price does not wait for that to happen. It zooms on the news of the find.
KBLB is mining for golden polymers. We anxiously await results.
There are some very unique aspects to this company that the market appears to be failing to appreciate:
There are tried and true methods to determining a company's stock value.
There is no indication whatsoever what KBLB's future earnings will be (if any), which is one of the BIGGEST factors.
You have to look deeply at this company to fully appreciate just what it has. Some of the best aspects are not evident from a casual inspection. Which, IMHO, is why the market hasn't caught on yet.
The most successful investors look at SEC filings first, and if they are not scared off, then they read all pr's and any further that is warranted.
Kim has done all he can to show KBLB's potential to the market. KBLB's market value is the RESULT of that(public communication + SEC filings)
Maybe you should consider the possibility that the market has considered the "best aspects" and they are priced in already.
There is a lot more going on here than is apparent from a cursory inspect (the type most analysts make).
THey don't need to know how ZFN's work. What they need to know is KBLB's assets,debt/liabilities, future earnings, profitability.
As mentioned above.. nobody has a clue whether kBLB will make 1 billion next year or 1 hundred.
Just because a company has potential... does not mean that the Market Capitalization is not factoring in that. Things can change at any time for the better or worse, and I personally still do not know which way this thing is going (short term)
Maybe there is something that YOU are not considering to explain the current market valuation of Kraig Labs.
