really, as soon as i see a lot of people talking about a single stock, it puts me off from even thinking about that stock as a speculation ....
Another thing that goes hand in hand with that is those same people really being unaware of the fact that they're part of a much larger community. They're so busy in a tiny neighborhood that they don't notice the sprawling metropolis that sprung up around them.
The common symptom of this is people predicting that if their little neighborhood is abandoned, the metropolis will become a ghost town. The ones who'll quickly cite that their neighborhood is the 3rd "hottest" one but never click any of the other top 10 to notice that they're huge in comparison. Even ones that're ranked further down the list.
