OT...Freemarkets,

Are you saying a liberal aka a Democrat aka a Communist aka a Libertarian can't be a Christian? You really must think before you post. I hate this Jesus was a liberal, know he wasn't type of go round. Liberal is a very muddied term and it really is stupid to try and put modern political labels on someone who lived 2000 years ago. Btw, who are you to judge based on a political label who can and can't be a Christian. Stop the religious right's insanity. It starts with you. If you confess that you are a sinner and that Christ is the Son of God who died for you then you are a Christian. Plain and simple.

OT. I would and I can promise you that very few right wing neo-con American's are going to heaven. Only the money changers in the temple were worse hypocrits than the American neo-cons and I have never seen so many people (Americans) profess to be christians and, at the same time, trash by their actions nearly every word Christ spoke.

BTW, we can all agree America (where most of the people were British) did win the war of independence. Actually, it was the American insurgents (Mmmm, does that word sound familiar?) who used a lot of insurgents strategies like telling those who didn't want to fight, that they if they didn't they would kill their children and burn down their property. If you have a library (doubtful by the tone of your postings if you have been in one) you might want to read some true history and not Mel Gibson's version.

That aside, when that was taking place, my people lived in Ireland and Scotland and were having their own problems with the English. However, I think the Brits are pretty thankful that they left. They then went on to build the largest Empire the world has ever seen and with the money that (basically) they stole off those colonies, came back to America and bought vast chunks of it (which they still own) including masses of real estate holdings in major US cities and big pieces of US corporations. Not a bad arrangement really....Americans send their children out to get killed protecting their (british) assets. Now who won?

OT I read somewhere that stimulation of parts of the temporal lobes of the brain by a strong magnetic field leads to an experience described as a belief in God.
The earth has a magnetic field Hmmmmmmmm.
