I posted that last week
notice nestlé is loaded with brands, and is almost nr 1 worldwide
and has a problem (with walmart) regarding some made in china stuff
P&G is doing 1/4th of their sales and is acquiring companies

imho a bidding war has occured or could occur. in all logics.

the pet food market is recession proof and grows at an annual rate of 6%. Europe market has a lot of faster growth to catch up also vs the US (maturity of the markets).
