In a strange way, the tragedy may have a positive side to it, as far as the economy is concerned. We'll lose a chunk of the GDP, due to the disruption, but that will be amply compensated by spending to rebuild, insurance disbursements and government emergency expenditures. It may take some time till the dust clears, however, and I still have us going down hard later this months and a good chunk of October.
