One negative possibility that I can see is that perhaps OEMs expected to send units to reviewers never materialized or backed out and the company decided to send its own units out for review. Still, I've taken to accepting all of these indirect communications from company officers (via message boards) with a healthy dose of skepticism--for all I know RP/Fred, etc. never told anyone that we wouldn't be sending our own units for review.

Assuming you are right, and there were some "mixed signals"...

Pause and consider...

There are probably no more than 6 people involved in getting the shipments, unloading the crates, checking the uints, arranging for the filling of orders, answering calls and e-mail from potential customers, and anxious shareholders,(like yourself), and doing a host of other tasks, like sending the unit for Reviews...

Give them a break...

You expect the precesion of a Qualcom from a small company on the the brink of verbal and economic extinction, trying to market its first significant product...
